Re: A few suggestions
Also I guess its after all those years balanced-like what amounts of ores etc. on which settings appear - and if u add recycling, wouldn't that need an overhaul of all ressource-patch-ratio's since suddenly you can re-use some percentage of the raw-ressources? I dare say that this is a bit of an ex...

Re: A few suggestions
Thank you for the comments! The ideas around the increased power complexity are meant to contribute to the realism factor. I hate seeing that the whole (mega-)base receives its power from a few small poles, especially if we have medium and large ones too! Yes, these bigger poles increase the distanc...

A few suggestions
Hello, I'm a long-time Factorio fan, and have been reading the FFFs for more than 2 years now. Big applause and cheers to the devs for an awesome game! I have a few ideas/suggestions which I think would improve the game a lot: 1. Add limits to how much power can be transferred between electric poles...

Re: Friday Facts #307 - 0.17 stable candidate
Declaring 0.17 stable after sneaking the oil changes in. ... A questionable move, but outstanding. "sneaking"?! How could it be less sneaky than that two FFF with their associated Forum threads? That random oil changes have generated as much drama, as i would have expected to happen for a...

Re: Friday Facts #305 - The Oil Changes
Burn it in engines, use it up lubricating machines. I read somewhere, someone was going on about steam trains (coal/wood & water) Diesel (heavy oil for burning & light oil for lubrication) Would be fun. -jim lee Sorry if my previous post sounded a bit harsh or like a rant. Didn't mean to of...

Re: Friday Facts #305 - The Oil Changes
Hello, I've been constantly reading the forums and the FFFs for years now. IMHO, I'm not in the "megabase-builder"-category, but nor am I a novice. I've done most of the achievements in Factorio (all except for 3 or maybe 4) and I have no issues with building a 60-120 SPM base. I didn't ha...

There's nothing wrong with 0.16.101 as far as software versioning goes...eradicator wrote:Only 49 to go until they run out of version numbers and must release 0.17 \o/.

Re: Version 0.16.50
Any chance that this build will be "promoted" as the new 0.16 "stable" ?
