BTW, how come chat log isn't included in the lua:terminal/stdout factorio-current.log (private information ?), or at least isn't in its own separate chat.log or factorio-console.log ?

@BlueTemplar: yes. these are for real world late game use. also, I believe using only speed will not be as fast due to the increased use of iron, leading to more swings and more active % per steel bar. Thing is, you need oil for explosives for cliff explosives in the first place ! (And their 1rst oil only had this one spot.)
But I'd understand if such an uncommon scenario (and rare issue ?) was not deemed to be worthwhile to fix...

I'm pretty sure that each new nest killed adds to evolution less than the previous one (otherwise you'd easily get evolution "over 100%" in the late game), but I don't know what the exact function is...
