When the new switch comes out if it has enough ram that would also help in bringing mods to the switch version.
Memory is not the obstacle for most mods, Nintendo is. If they did not budge for skyrim I doubt they will for factorio.

Note that the Switch is a 32bit system, having more than 4GiB RAM is almost pointless.
The Nintendo switch is 64bit, some older games that run on it are 32bit.

If you are overclocking, remove it including xmp and update your bios. If you know what you are doing you can try if increasing core voltag...

Re: Nintendo switch out of system ram

The limit will always be easy to reach on the switch, it is just not the system to build anything one would call a mega base.

Try restarting the system and close all other programs before starting the game.

Re: Nintendo switch out of system ram

The limit is what it is, you could explore less and reduce or disable pollution in a new run to reduce map data.

Re: [1.1.107][mac-arm] Random freezes during Lazy Bastard run

How reliable is this? So if you load one of the saves and don't do anything, how long does it take for it to freeze?

Re: Fluid Mechanics Still Broken, 6 Years Later?

Yeah, I am not talking about the OP, and I get why buffer tanks should be used. I talk about the tank's load not being balanced, ie. connect your wagons with a pump each and one taking alot longer to clear/fill: https://youtu.be/zJBvw28bQu0?t=1721 The fascinating thing about discussions about this ...
