Re: Midterm goal

Hello, I could not agree more with SilverWarior, I could not care less about MP. I think Factorio may perhaps one day positively excel on servers with persistent worlds etc. But for me the unique problem solving and relative glacial pace of the game suite SP quite wonderfully. I have seen many compa...

Re: indicator for mines that ran out of deposits

I agree with MF- and especially like ssilk's idea. It could be implemented in a manner similar to the steam engine.

Re: Midterm goal

Great! I like this situation much better. My preference is always the Single Player and core over Multiplayer.

Its also worth noting that I am well satisfied with the game (although obviously wanting more) and have certainly gotten my monies worth. Can not tell you guys enough, excellent work!

Re: thoughts about [0.5.0]

I like SilverWarior's idea. You could also add a small yellow arrow directly to the graphics of the mine discharge chute similar to what is used for the splitters and belts.

Re: mute the game while alt-tabbed

Silver Warior said: More processing power means more energy required. More energy spent means higher electrical bil. But offcourse many our younger players don't care about that much since they are not the ones paying electrical bils. Well you certainly have a point there in regards to power consump...

Re: [0.3.0] Last box in steam-engine: avail.performace never

Well, thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt. But still, even though the indicator fluxes, I never seem to reach maximum. I wonder since Candunc has a working indicator, if it has any relation to the OS? I for example am on Win64. I would not think so... b) you wrote the correct name, but thi...

Re: mute the game while alt-tabbed

That's odd, for me when I press ESC and alt tab out and in the music does stop. I am quite impressed, the last build ran for almost two weeks straight. The new build has been running since last night, alt-tabbing away...in fact I can play another alpha Kerbal Space Program, and Factorio at the same ...

Hi Candunc,

For me as well the Steam Engine never reaches maximum available performance. Could you give us a screenshot of yours?

Re: Version 0.5.0

Good Evening, There is certainly no reason to apologize for an experimental alpha. I hope with our input you guys can finish crafting a game we will all enjoy playing for a very long time. I look forward to further updates with great enthusiasm. A bit off topic, but I am so pleased with Factorio, I ...

Re: Version 0.5.0

Hello, I too have been experimenting with various map settings. Like some of the guys above, even the rare setting gives you more enemies than in the previous version. Also, I have had a difficult time generating a map where all resources were within a screen or two of each other at maximum zoom out...

Hello,

I was not able to reproduce this on Win64. The updater worked fine.

Re: Awaited Indie Games Thread

Hello Everyone, The alpha for Planetary Annihilation was released last night. http://store.uberent.com/Store/PreOrder?titleId=4#prettyPhoto Although the kickstarter is long over, you can still preorder with beta access starting in July. Having played Total Annihilation on its release back in 1997, I...

I am so annoyed I missed the Indiegogo campaign. I would have bought two of the 100Euro packages just to chat with you guys :) We are always happy when we drive over to Prague.

Thank you guys for sharing your plans for the next few releases.

Hello, Just to chime in, I like the ideas of the OP (although my factories are rather spread out) and I especially agree with the ssilk's post here viewtopic.php?f=6&t=722. That sums up my feelings exactly, especially in regards to mouse operations. Does anyone remember the rather ancient game &...

Hello Friends, Not that the first post was terribly interesting, but here are a few more details of steam engines taken at the German Shipping Museum in Hamburg. http://www.flickr.com/photos/miaskelley/sets/72157633439355652/ Also it occurs to me looking though these photos, to ask if wind and tidal...

GOG.com

Hello, While I have been a Steam user since its inception, I have found in the last few years more and more of my purchases have been though other venues. I am particularly satisfied with GOG.com. They have released quite a few indy games, most recently Reus and Signal Ops. As they are based in Euro...
