Re: Friday Facts #416 - Fluids 2.0

-1 from me love the current pipes because they're sexy as fuck, just look at this, you can almost hear it gurgling by https://files.catbox.moe/fcf4q4.gif i see the flow animations no longer do their thing in the 2.0 previews and i bet the sound is gone aswell i consider each pipe capable of doing 1...

Re: Friday Facts #416 - Fluids 2.0

It's realistic that pipeline length decreases throughput, that's how it works in reality because the longer the pipe the more resistance it imposes. You simply need more paralel pipelines if you require high throughput over a long distance. Or you must produce solid products locally near a oil sour...

Re: Friday Facts #416 - Fluids 2.0

I'm surprised people are ready to stop playing just because a single of the challenges that was fighting against a weird-behaving fluid system was removed

Re: Friday Facts #416 - Fluids 2.0

A thing I think is really nice is that by having big chunks holding all the liquid, it means that a pipe with very few liquid in it will not see its content disappear due to rounding errors when the liquid tries to spread. I was losing a third of all my Pyroflux in Space Exploration because of that ...

Ok, you convinced me.
I added a "Build with obstacle avoidance" control settings entry. CONTROL + Left mouse click is default value.
Yes ! After three months, it finally come back !

Re: Version 0.17.58

There ... are no changes to the rail planner, are there? Do you mean the change that prevents rail bounding boxes being changed by mods, or is there something else you mean? I only wish there were changes to the rail planner. No, the changes I'm very annoyed about (even still) are the ones released...

Re: Friday Facts #303 - Under 100 bugs (but still not stable)

In US, ok, the price difference is 5$, it's better to buy them officially to be guaranteed to have a key... But in others countries, like in Europe, the game from G2A is worth 15€, while the official version is at 25€ due to the regional pricing. 11$ of difference in this region, it's understandable...

Re: Friday Facts #297 - New resource icons

I think there might be *some* situations were you don't necessarily have whole pennies, but generally speaking it's a solid approach. No bank ever is going to store currency in whole pennies. They have massive amounts of decimal places. At trillions of transactions per hour, even something as small...

Re: Friday Facts #297 - New resource icons

Pure speculation: Smooth animations for arbitrary angles. Example: with single degree precision you couldn't rotate 90Β° over 60 ticks smoothly. Then your smallest unit isn't tiny enough. A good 64 bit integer can map every millimeter from the core of the sun out to Pluto and an ordinary clock has 4...

Re: Version 0.17.36

See it in the other way : in 1.0, the game will be "finished" and the game will not have to be so updated, so as long as we aren't in 1.0, the less time we will need to wait to see new content

Re: Friday Facts #292 - Inching closer to stable

Speaking of mods, it could be good if we were able to enable, disable, download and update some mods without having to load all the mods for nothing, especially with the 0.17 where the mods loading take one or two minutes and where the game freeze for an additional minute when you reload the mods

Re: Return the object avoidance mode for ghost rail building

I always thought of that ghost mode as something you grow out of as soon as you figured out how blueprints and trains work. In the early game, a long spaghetti ghost rail does nothing for you so why are you messing around with it? Just build rails. If you keep running into things you can't remove, ...

Re: Friday Facts #290 - Rail building changes & High-res icons

Why not use a toggle feature that switch between normal and planner mod with cap lock if you like this area (and because we couldn't be able to rotate counter clockwise is this uses shift, even if I have some doubts about people using the counter clockwise rotation) Also, passing through all the tre...

Yes, multiple products are possible again. I just loaded up Angels bio processing, just to be sure, and it does indeed work.
But it isn't in the changelog...
