You want to pull the folder out of the zip file first, not just drop the whole zip in. Put the whole folder in there.

I dl the zipfile and placed in the scenarios folder, and inside a Factorio folder. But when i start the game i cant see the scenario option in the menu.

I´m using a non steam factorio to test this scenario on, will that not work?

Got the server up and running, but i cant connect to it. I have tried localhost:34197 and externalip:34197 nothing works.

But i have some issues:
Why does the tool show me my external ip.?
I want to connect locally, localhost:1024 doesn´t work.

Yes you can, if you set a different port in the config.ini for each instance. The players then have to connect on that port aswell.
