I noticed when placing down blueprints that contain hookups (red or green) that the robots place the items and hookup the circuit network connections for you, but it doesn't consume or even require any red/green wire from your inventory.

As a thought then if they implement the inserting the currently held stack size idea, have it to where if your holding an item, you can increase or decrease the ammount of them in your hand using the scroll wheel
