It's been updated since the last major Factorio version, and it worked fine the last time I used it.

Re: Circuit control "Request from buffer chests"
This is a wonderful idea with a terrible justification. Please validate my suggestion with a better use case. Thanks! I can only come up with really convoluted setups involving circuit-controlled assemblers set up as universal crafters. But since those are coming to vanilla in 2.0, that's probably ...

We'd need a lot more information about what you want it to do before anyone would be able to help.

Re: The Productivity Cap and why the FFF #375 recycler shouldn't be introduced
Mining prod is either never worth it or always worth it, depending on your metric. --- Notice how all your examples are exactly how I described them? The limit is an effective limit based on other gameplay mechanics, not a hard "it doesn't work past here"? --- For damage upgrades, you have...

Re: The Productivity Cap and why the FFF #375 recycler shouldn't be introduced
So in practice none of them really are "infinite". It is all just a question of "how far before it is not worth it anymore". But for everything else that's actually a question, with some tradeoffs and decisions to make. ie. Gameplay. With productivity researches the answer is ju...

Re: The Productivity Cap and why the FFF #375 recycler shouldn't be introduced
But instead some people are already like "give them an inch, and they will take a mile" . The main issue I personally have with the productivity cap is that there are infinite researches that stop having an effect after a certain level due to a hard-coded cap rather than a natural effect ...

Re: Train scheduling 2.0
FYI you can overlap train stations already. I do this in some of my tiny rail grid factories. Put 3 stops on the same rail right next to each other. Name them "Iron Dropoff" "Stone Dropoff" etc. Then line the track with inserters to unload all the possible wagon locations. Balan...

Re: Increase non-stack inserter capacity from 3 to 4 because of stacking
Of course I took all of these things into account before posting. The math is quite simple. But, you say “only” 3 times slower compared to 4 times slower, as if that’s significant at all. It’s certainly not enough to cross any important throughput thresholds, besides of course the very minor one of...

Re: Curved/Diagonal Walls
The walls connecting to water/space has a mod that fixes it. Except I think it also turns off connecting to cliffs?
Curved walls won't give any benefit other than aesthetics over just drawing that bitmap curve. They might also have odd things to do with them being single segments with massive HP.

Or you could use merged chests and loaders.
But balancers have almost no uses since the introduction of splitter priorities.
The only place they're still the right thing to use over compressors is near trains.

Re: The Productivity Cap and why the FFF #375 recycler shouldn't be introduced
I think a very nice option would be to limit the recycler to final products, which can't take productivity modules. The reason would be much less the productivity cap, but opening up the space for alternate recipes as has been mentioned in a recent friday facts, for which the recycler is an issue a...
