Is it possible to supply boilers/furnaces etc with a belt which transports a random mix of fuels?

i.e. i have a belt with coal from mining and solid fuel from somewhere else, then i merge those streams into a single belt
and transport that mix to the fuel consumers, will this trigger negative ...
