I figured out a workaround (show package contents->contents->MacOS-> factorio open with terminal) on OSX 10.6.8 This worked for me on 0.12.7. However, using this trick in the last update 0.12.8 results in a completely messed up startup screen (with trains all over the place and a visually challenged...

I see great ideas!
responsive, reactive resources and end game 'purpose'.
As I understand the mission part in this post: You have to build a 'mission blueprint' in order to unlock new mission blueprints and/or resources?

What is the point of more alarms if you're unable to click 'm and goto? From early on I found the 'bound centralist' idea in factorio very interesting and finally something different than rts (god view once you have radar). So, I'm very happy with the improved turrets. Previously, I would only use the laser turrets. Now I actually enjoy using the gun turrets. There is however an annoyance.
