Hmm i recorded the expected behaviour in 0.16.39 vanilla but the file is 186MB in size.
A train waiting for the middle track reroutes as the top track gets free...
So maybe accidently fixed or not a bug...

Re: [0.16.38] Trains don't repath at chain signal anymore
This doesn't look like a bug to me. The path you are suggesting is open also appears to be longer. A train in the path will increase the calculated relative distance, but both paths here have a pending train anyway. The existence of a free block doesn't mean a train will take that path, it still ...

Re: [16.36] Inserters get stuck
Just to add, I've had this quite a bit, but only had one inserter persistently do it:

This was (mostly) 16.25; I changed the configuration before updating. Seablock config.

[wheybags] [0.16.25] Campaign New-Hope-04 old-water Boilers/Steam Engines

On the fourth mission of New Hope, the boilers and engines that are pre-placed use the old hot-water mechanic, instead of steam. This is problematic if you place more (or replace after destruction) of either later, forcing you to tear it all up.

Re: [16.23] Fluids have direction preference
I wonder how technically in-depth it would be to reverse the update order each tick, which would theoretically solve this without processing overhead.

[16.23] Fluids have direction preference
I noticed that when unloading petroleum, the north side of a symmetrical setup will unload first. When this same setup is rotated to point south instead of west,
the west side will unload first. This image makes it a bit more clear:

[16.18] Desync while artillery scouting
I experienced desyncs twice while doing some artillery scouting. This is fairly late game, so the reports are 284MB and 428MB respectfully. Local client is windows, remote is headless linux. I was the only player online.
