The flavor I'm experiencing ONLY seems to affect electric furnaces - all other rockets are launching automatically without any problems. Not sure if that makes sense with what Rseding found.

I have a bunch of items requested from Nauvis, and for whatever reason, only electric furnaces refuse to send. All other items send without issues. I can't figure out what is different about the request, if anything.

- There are plenty of electric furnaces on Nauvis
- The space platform has room ...

Update: new PSU installed, fired up factorio, and it was like it knew I was testing... same exact freeze happened. So PSU is not the issue...

Try disabling XMP and see if that helps.


I have actually tried that, and forgot to mention it in my troubleshooting steps. But thanks!

I am pretty positive this is a hardware issue with my pc, but I experience this relatively frequently when loading factorio, so thought I'd start here to see if anyone has ideas.

Specs (all stock voltages and stock clocks, XMP profile on RAM):

There's two changes you need in order for the game to load and not crash when you click on a combinator:

In-game mod changelog should match website

edit: my suggestion was a duplicate. my apologies! +1 to deadlock's suggestion.


Currently, if you go to the changelog on mods.factorio.com, the changelog for a mod has the latest versions at the top.

In-game, the latest versions are at the bottom. It's annoying having to scroll all the way down ...

As far as expansion goes, if I turn it on, will the elemental bases/biters migrate towards me? Or do they always stay a certain radius from the start location?

I have bob's enemies enabled in standalone fashion with another overhaul mod (Krastorio). As far as I'm aware, Krastorio does not affect enemies, and their mod page even recommends including bob's enemies so you have fun things to shoot at with their crazy weapons.

I'm about 60h into my playthrough ...

FNEI isn't working out for us --- we need the 'factoriopedia' recipe tree generator. as 84 hours, 23 minutes of being stuck due to FNEI limitations (plus more from my brothers trying the same thing --- they all got stuck earlier in the same mods game) has been UNACCEPTABLE while other games ...

question is then either to buff the new polymer chains or nerf the old ones.
I would personally vote to buff the new ones, since the old ones already seemed fairly balanced (before the new ones came out).

I apologize if this is not a bug (or if it is not possible to implement), but it would be nice if your mod settings synced with the steam cloud like your saved games do. Making sure all my settings are the same when I log in from different computers is a hassle.
