The other way around is much more useful. For example, with the box checked base construction bots can take stuff out of my inventory to place it, if it was not found in any other chest. Quite often my bots are completely useless because the thing that needs to be placed or replaced is so rare that...

Please don't nerf the existing inserters. Because you will end up using only the rapid inserters in the end, making the fast inserters a mere intermediate product. This wouldn't work for when you want one central refueling station for all trains. You would either activate it and all trains come for refuel, or deactivate it and nobody gets any fuel. You can't just have a train go there for fuel when it needs it. The condition could have a locomotive-inventory/...

Is it only me or did they really remove the headless server options in 0.12.2? Did you try the command? I don't like the idea of adding new things (ores, ...) for everything. It can be simplified if that means not having to deal with over 40 kinds or ores. That's one thing I don't like about minecraft mod packs. Exactly, adding lot of different ores with specific usage is something I also don't like....
