I have the same issue. Vanilla Game, no mods. 0.16.9. Hangs on save after about 3 minutes of game play. Manual or Auto save. Windows 10 Pro

Crash on Autosave or manual save. Using most recent release.
Game hard crashes on "Saving" dialog. Must use taskman to kill application. When attempting to load, "savegame".tmp is corrupted, but original savegame is still available.
