No, they are not connected to each other so the three rearmost carriages are left behind.

[kovarex] [16.6] Overlapping Cargo Wagons when click and drag
First bug post so please forgive if anything is missing. When clicking and dragging to place cargo wagons they have become overlapped, deleting and replacing manually fixes the issue. Only mod in use is upgrade planner. I haven't been able to reproduce this so not sure what if anything i did differe...
