There are some reports on reddit about occurrences of this bug.

Seems like it's definitely triggered by swapped key bindings.

I also think that a big, monolithic logistic bot base probably is an easy and less challenging style of play. I've been experiencing frozen biters, too. It's been this way since 16.0 and first I thought that biter aggression levels have been reduced. Since tanks don't take tree damage anymore, could you drive through the trees and burn the forest behind you as a workaround? I did try the new "tank takes no damage while driving through forests" approach first. The Tank is still slowed down for each collision with a tree, that's why you...
