Re: Friday Facts #243 - New GUI tileset

I want to also mention that we are actually taking care of the 8% of the population who has some sort of color vision problems. This subject is still very new for us, but we are without a doubt researching solutions to different conditions. You are awesome. Give yourself a cookie on my behalf. So m...

Re: Version 0.16.36

I bought Factorio using Gog platform. But I can download version 0.16.36. The newest version declared as stable is 0.15.40. The stable updates of .15.xx seemed to come to GOG quite quickly, so I'm confused as to why stable .16 is taking so long as well. However, if you're feeling impatient, you can...

Re: Price change

I've been curious about something, and this seems like the perfect place to ask it. Most games I see on the market retail for $x.99 in stead of the next highest dollar amount. (I'm working with US dollars here.) So a game priced like Factorio at the 20 dollar range would be sold at $19.99. Factorio,...

To any who are curious, its an intel HD4000.
On Windows we plan to use DirectX 11 (which your card supports)
I did not realize that anyone had responded to me. Glad to hear this. Thanks for the response. :D

Re: Friday Facts #228 - High resolution turrets

Question (to any who can answer) about the possible upgrade to a newer OpenGL. Does the windows version use OpenGL, or one of the direct X's? I ask because I looked it up after reading this, and my integrated chip only runs OpenGL 4.0 on windows, not 4.1. (Although 4.1 is apparently available on mac...

Re: End game performance Q, plus Misc

Thanks for the additional replies from people with similar systems. After the initial replies I decided to go ahead and take the plunge as it were. GOG has a very generous 14 day no Q's asked refund policy on In Dev titles, so I decided is that the worst that would happen is I take advantage of it. ...

Re: End game performance Q, plus Misc

Thanks for the responses. The comment about my CPU made me check something, and I noticed that the CPU minimum requirements are different on GOG than on the Steam page and on Factorio.com. Someone on the team should probably contact GOG about that, since the difference is half the CPU speed, which w...

End game performance Q, plus Misc

Interested in the game thanks to seeing a few Let's Plays, but I'm wary of if my computer would be able to handle a late game setup. The demo runs fine, constant 60 FPS, but the demo doesn't really allow for you to build a sprawling factory. I've seen some posts from people running the game on simil...
