It depends on your computer (mainly CPU- + RAM-speed) and how slow it can get until it annoys you. :) My biggest base till now had an uncovered map of about 12,000 quadrat-tiles and a throughput of 200,000 raw-ressource items (copper, iron, coal, stone) per minute, transporte...

My 7 year old gaming comp can run it without a single lag spike.

Q9550 (quadcore cpu)
GTX 780 (have been upgraded recently)
and 8k ram

So imo it's not too demanding (yet anyways).
But i don't know how much of a drain this game is on cpu vs gpu. My gpu is pretty good, so. idk.

The biggest beef i have with crowdfunded games is actually this get your name in the game thing that most of them have. It is immersion breaking to me atleast. But i can change the name, so it's fine (i guess). Noone would ever name their child or a city (station in this case) Alcapwn, Boobalicious ...
