Re: Pacifying agent - alternative to peaceful mode.
I like that. Can you add the link to the reddit post, please? I posted about this on this reddit post: http://www.reddit.com/r/factorio/comments/2ojqij/what_would_you_do_with_access_to_water/ My reply (copy&paste) was: I would be happy with floating paths, belts and micro-algae farms. Micro alg...

Pacifying agent - alternative to peaceful mode.
Hello! I would like to see a pacification agent added to the game. The mechanic would take power to maintain, and would act a a sort of counter-pollution, pacifying the biters instead of angering them. On a reddit post I posted about this idea as a response to what could water surfaces be used for. ...

It would make trams possible

Move the "getting off" position for the trains a few pixels?
Hello! In my latest play I had the idea of organizing my base in such a way so I could use trains for in-base transportation (like a tram). The idea was to have a series of trains constantly running around the base, and I would hop on and off the trains in motion to get transported (placing stations...

Re: furnace wall
You are playing tower defense on factorio? hehe I think biters will spot a turret or the player, and then only attack other structures if they get in the way of the pathfinding. I havent tested it, but i think it would be possible to just build an open but convoluted path for the biters to go throug...

Cobblestone and stone brick paths.
Hello! First post on the forums here :) Just wanted to suggest cobblestone and stone brick path tiles. They would be used as pavement, giving the player bonuses to speed. There could also be a tier 3 path that required iron plates and lubricant, and acted as an non-interruptible but very fast lane. ...
