Entities which are part of multiple Electrical networks get counted multiple times in electric network infos entety count (while those networks are connected via a switch).
I would have expected them to be counted only once.

I opened the remote view, had the "show logistic network" toggle on.
Then, when pausing the game via the "pause" button, the green construction range of my personal roboport on the remote view gets rendered at the center of the open remote view; The green square around my actual position disappears ...

Your keyboard layout may has 'dead keys' activated, so you can press e.g. '`' and then 'e' to type a 'Γ¨'. The '`' is then 'stored' and either combined with the next letter (if this combination exists) or just emitted right before the next other character.
