Re: Factorio flickers heavily all of the sudden

I just registered here to post that I'm having the same exact issue. I'm running the same version of mesa drivers. I have very little knowledge with linux and how to change drivers. If there is a workaround for this issue it would be greatly appreciated. Either revert to Mesa 20.2 (I think 20.2.1 m...

Since you cannot change the map settings without disabling achievements
Changing map settings only disables a few combat-related achievements.

Then email them, ask on Discord, or wait. Granted, that doesn't change that It's a Saturday night and 1am where most of the team is.

Failure state should be the exception, not the norm.

Edit: actually, yeah, listen to Eradicator, not me.

All of them, including space science, sometimes (often?) excepting military science. You can see your production statistics by pressing "P" (I think that's the hotkey), or I believe there's a button to open it below the minimap somewhere as well.

The smallest word the forum accepts is 3 letters. And indeed, there is unfortunately no advanced search syntax as "between quotes", or -unwanted or stuff.
[Koub] Also moving the thread to This Forum.
"-" should work.

considering I regularly plays Skyrim with a BOAT LOAD of mods, which is usually one of the most taxing things, to which the game runs perfectly fine.
I feel like that would be in general more taxing on the GPU, while Factorio tends to be more CPU/memory taxing.

Indeed, it brings popularity that someone begins to imitate this. But it’s sad that the idea is stolen by pieces and profit from it.
If the idea is stolen by lots of people it is the best compliment for the idea imo.

Re: Friday Facts #360 - 1.0 is here!

I noticed that the 1.0 update on steam is marked as "small update". Maybe you should mark it as big because big updates are featured on the main page. In general I think a bit of advertisement on steam could help but I don't know how thats working Well, they're on the header in the Steam ...

Also, I can place an inserter in the spot right to this tree, but I can't place a furnace there. I thought this squares are the basic elements of the map, so either I should be allowed to place something there or not. What is happening there?
Inserters are 1x1 tile, furnaces are 2x2.
