Re: Friday Facts #224 - Bots versus belts
Personally, I am always concerned by belt compression, and would be glad if inserters had a built-in functionality for that. In some way, belts would be easier to handle so bots superiority would be less flagrant.

I replaced with the new installer (also I renamed it the same (factorio.exe instead of factorio-run.exe)). The Radeon software didn't crash this time but I got a message that the graphic driver got reset. Crash at 89% still.

Re: game will not load past 89%
I want to point out that this is exactly the problem I am encountering. Updating amd drivers did not solve it and it seems that the amd Radeon software crashes at that exact same time.

Re: [posila][16.0][Win7] - Crash on start, last log entry: "Convert atlas 8192x924 to: alpha-mask"
After a bit of research it seems that it is conflicting with AMD software. Game crash is accompanied with a Radeon software crash (I need to restart it).

Re: [posila][16.0][Win7] - Crash on start, last log entry: "Convert atlas 8192x924 to: alpha-mask"
I have upgraded my software for the graphic card and made some Windows update, but the crash still holds. It occurs at exactly 89% (on the loading screen). The message disappeared though. My GPU temperature seems fine (around 45Β°C) if I trust CAM. Also, I can run beefier games (The witcher 3 e.g.) w...

Hello,
Well, eager to experiment the release, however the game crashes toward the end of the loading screen. I get a white screen and a window saying that the game stopped.
Attached are the last two log files

Re: Version 0.16.0
When saying "improving performance of (belts, electric network...)" you mean CPU / GPU / memory performance ? It means the game takes less resources to handle them, isn't it (sorry I am no professional developer ) ?

Re: Simple Questions and Short Answers
I have noticed that my stack inserters won't insert items in a train wagon if it's not a multiple of their stack size.
For example, if they need to fill only 3 belts, and have a stack size of 5, they won't proceed and keep stuck. Is that normal ?

The trains can go up inside trains stations (partly visible on image top), but not down, toward bottom of the image.

Re: Nuclear power price / risk balancing
I don't think it's overpowered, the Setup costs are insane and you Need a longterm solution for fuel supply. Planning a nuclear site is also quite complicated. Compared to solar it is far more balanced in Terms of Setup and upkeep. Setup costs are insane, not so much I would say, knowing to the amo...

Nuclear power price / risk balancing
Hello, Main problem I think about nuclear is that it's a bit overpowered. With Kovarex enrichment process unlocked, it simply becomes ridiculous. Maybe there should be more space for other types of power supplies also in late-game. Also, nuclear power should come with a higher price / risk. So my su...

Re: AND condition
You need two combinators. One set to lubricant < 20k output S=1 and the other set to heavy oil > 5k output S=1. wire the input to the respective tanks and the output to the pump. set the pump to enabled condition S=2. enjoy. Thanks ! :D I don't see why you would need upper limit for lubricant. Just...

AND condition
Hi ! I have a simple combinator question : I want to make an end condition for lubricant production. Basically I want to say to my pump "only pump heavy oil when lubricant < 20k AND heavy oil > 5k" . I know many examples lurk around somewhere but I can't seem to find them :( Thank you
