The idea behind not allowing this (as it has been suggested many, many times before) is that if you make a moat surrounding your base, it will be impenetrable. You are never to young to learn. And learning by playing is a great way to acquire new skills and knowledge. Factorio is a great game to learn about "logic" and "planning" and many other useful skills.
As a 48 year old I am thoroughly enjoying learning how to play this game and sharpen those skills ...

Main use of Land mines is to augment base defenses, a line, a few mines deep tiled right at the edge of turret range will greatly thin their numbers and stun the poor fools for your towers to chew apart easily, and they can be replaced automatically by your construction bots too.

That is a bit misleading here.
I thought that "save blueprint" means save the entire blueprint and the name is a part of it. There isn't even a message to warn that the name isn't saved.
So the button actually means this ?
