I had the same problem! when my friend started building the game detected a desync in the map and tries to reload the map. This will be repeated endlesly.

i had to restart my computer! now it works....

I am using Windows 7 ... don't know weather this is important
I downloaded the "0.11.1 MS Windows (32 bit exe installer)" and installed the game.
when i try to start the game it crashs.
Hopefully you guys can fix this
