I believe this also causes windows to give a "Factorio has crashed" message when the game is closed after it occurs. Perhaps a rendering thread is getting stuck somewhere?

Observed on a 1440p display. I believe the screen is cut off slightly on all sides, however it's more noticeable on the right side due to the text.

After taking a screenshot through steam, all of the basic terrain stopped rendering, but decorations and machines still rendered. This only happens while standing still, while moving all rendering appeared normal. This bug persisted for the duration of Steam's "New Screenshot" notification...
