[2.0.24] Is the rocket silo’s power usage backwards?
It uses a very modest amount of power, 1.5MW, while building a rocket. Then it uses 26MW while _launching_ the rocket, then down to 1.5MW for a second or two, then back to full power to lift the next rocket into place. That just seems backwards to me.

Thank you for these blueprints; I’ve found them quite handy. None of them build turrets though, so I tacked those on to the end of the first BP, although that’s not really very convenient:

That's a pretty big regression from 0.16. As long as you're simplifying the math, why don't you take a look at the crafting speeds? The math would be considerably simpler if you made the crafting speeds of the assemblers be 1x, 2x, and 3x rather than .5x, .75x, and 1.25x.

I suppose that's fair, although I feel compelled to point out that the belt is a mechanical component that would require occasional inspection and service too.

If I had an API token then I could use the new API endpoint, but I would have to log in to factorio.com to create a token. Catch-22.

I've been working on an interactive explanation of how Factorio generates maps which lets you interactively explore the various options that lets you see how each option really works. It only covers ore, but water and terrain segmentation are similar.

Yes, but that only happened after we had problems rejoining.
The main problem is the error message doesn't make any sense.

I had actually stepped away from the computer for a moment. The server was left running with the other players connected to it. They were dropped from the game, and when they tried to reconnect they were unable to do so. When I returned I saved the map, exited back to the menu, and restarted the ...
