Managing "AI" units made by player could be done with railroad stop style - you could drop pole saying "defend area 20 tiles around me" or "roam to pole XY" (names as railroad stations). When using units to attack, you could just switch some poles to gather units defending them to one pole and then ...

I look forward to versions, where player is not able to construct everything in his bare hands, only the basic stuff. But for the bigger things, there should even be a restriction in carrying those things - for example no cars and trains in pockets :)

It would be really nice to have containers implemented. Only certain inserters (or something new) could be used to actually extract or input materials into them, then the whole container could be put onto the train to move somewhere...

This game is actually about moving stuff from one place to another. With belts. Or logistic bots. Making"ender chest" that teleports everything to where you want it would make 99 percent of the game dissappear or useless...

I really like the idea - when the multiplayer will be implemented, having that sort of cooperation tool could be really nice (apart from talking on TeamSpeak for example)

I wonder, why is Factorio having multiple sites? Is it community driven, or by Factorio makers? Because having info on multiple sites is just making people do the same things twice... If FR ppl want to have their own forum, it should be a subforum here on factorioforums.com.
