What is maze chasm considered as for biters? Is it water or something else? I am trying to use this along with Rampant AI and Natural Evolution Enemies but feels like behaviour of biters is really weird. This would be totally expected if they didn't have a completely straight way to my base.

Hello do you have any idea why biters are 'turned off'? I started playing with NE and Rampant AI and now turned off Rampant and used a command to kill all biters but they just spawn and they are not doing anything. Does it make any sense to use Rampant with a mod changing the map into something like this? Or they will be just lost and I should focus on base building difficulty rather than enemies?

I'm actually using your save to tune the frequency of attacks towards endgame, so there should be in update here shortly.

You are right, after I updated the mod it works smoothly most of the time so no problems anymore.

No, the UPS was lower all the time and would sometimes drop to 30 without me doing anything. I didn't build a silo yet, didn't kill trees, scorched earth is not the problem here I believe etc. What I didn't realise is that NE Enemies also causes everything nearby to flood to the killed biter base ...
