You may need to explain how the requester chest get their request too, just to make sure, because it seem a bit like magic :D
My super secret tech. It's a circuit that balances contents of requester chests based on total contents of the logistic network. When the inserters offload the science ...

Re: Selectable wire colors fir inserter input/output
you can actually already do this, in a hacky kinda way. I use it for my Science River blueprint - science river ez.txt (paste it in a creative map and set all trains to auto to get it started)

[0.17.43] Object placement along curved rail inconsistency
I noticed that in the inside corner of a curved rail split-off, only some 1x1 structures can fit in this specific location - please see this GIF https://gfycat.com/SolidAnchoredGreendarnerdragonfly
Objects that I found to fit are inserters, lamps, wooden/medium power poles

[0.16.36] Train stop circuit network glitch
Hi, I've run into a really awkward problem with train stop circuit logic.
It seems that the "Read Stopped Train" signal is sent at least one tick earlier than "Read Train Contents."
I identified this glitch while trying to answer the question, "how do you read that there is an empty train waiting ...

Configurable buffer capacity/flow meters
http://imgur.com/P2OFOXj.png
Hi everybody, I made this thing with combinators that I'm really proud of. This device gives you two 10-block meters that show the capacity of the buffer as a percentage of its maximum, and at what rate materials are flowing into or out of the buffer. Here's what it ...
