Get the flarestack mod and throw waste products into incinerators if you really cant think about what to do with them.
Sometimes it is convenient to do that... I really need X product, but it's throwing X Y and Z at me and I don't want to think about Y and Z at the moment.

Does anyone know how to re-enable turret creep? Once the worms get too big, it's impossible to clear by hand and I'm dozens of hours from proper tank/powerarmor production.

If you added that angel's smelting patch, it might be on you.
In early game you generally toss a lead plate and a tin plate into a chemical furnace for your early basic electronics board needs. Later on you use the fancy smelting stuff to mass produce em.

I got a major shock at the updated 0.6.13 angels refining when I discovered that uranite and fluorite production from slag got nerfed. It was my main source of power and ammo... I had to dig through the files to learn what was changed...
