Re: [0.17] Please post bugs and balance issues here.
I think the solution is to require a higher mark of nuclear reactor. It's a little silly that you can just drop a fusion cell into a fission reactor, anyway. If they're gated behind purple circuits, it would make more sense. And the rocket idea is a good one, too; perhaps use for a more powerful fus...

Is it just me, or are deuterium fuel cells very overpowered? It seems that with a pumpjack, less than a dozen chemical plants and electrolyzers, and a trickle of lead, I can produce an order of magnitude more power than a very resource-intensive uranium centrifuge/mining operation. Even the research...

A small useful thing would be a change to the accumulator circuit network panel that tells you the quantity of the selected signal that will be output at maximum charge.

Re: Friday facts #153 - 0.13 Stable, 0.14 Experimental
I'd love to see the ability to create fully automated, customizable drones. Think about it, lots of games have great unit customization. But how could that be done in a Factorio-like way? My answer is: A series of drone chassis with some basic characteristics (size of grid, basic health, movement ty...

Re: Logistic robots should pack themselves into requester chests
I mean the logical direction is this: like a requester chest a roboport can request to have X bots of type Y in the storage (until needed). That would fulfill your suggestion perfectly and can be used to distribute the robots (and repairpacks) much better. In the end your network can react much fas...

Re: Logistic robots should pack themselves into requester chests
Inserters can take robots out of roboports, with a smart inserter you can easily do this now. Yes, but the robots are scattered across a wide area, berthing themselves across dozens of roboports. This would summon them, in quantities set by interactions between the requester chest and linked machin...

Re: Logistic robots should pack themselves into requester chests
Bob's mod includes recipes for higher level robots that require a lower level robot as part of the recipe. It'd be great to set up a logistic chest next to an assembly machine for that recipe, and have the requester chest gradually suck up the old robots and convert them to new ones.

Logistic robots should pack themselves into requester chests
As the subject says, logistic robots (and construction robots, too) should pack themselves into logistic requester chests that want them. This would be useful for mods that provide upgraded robots.

I don't want to abandon my factory, I want to expand it. It'll be a serious emotional blow to the player if they just leave behind all the work they did for the last 8-30 hours.
