Re: Chlorine Issues
Assuming, the regular use is designed to be somewhat balanced (I don't know)
let me guess:
you are overproducing everything?
and maybe you are flaring unwanted chlorine?
Anyway

Re: Biter-ness (Basics questions)
Is evolution speed logarithmic ? I fear the worse soon, i.e. facing Behemoths while not prepared for them. Clearing 'only' 12 bases and Evolution is already at 0.4. Does it means that clearing 20 more is evolution 1? That would be terrible, as I play on a Death World and they are everywhere and the...

Re: Friday Facts #347 - New hope demo levels
It's the static acid spitters I have trouble with, if I place a turret within range they tend to destroy it pretty quickly, and if it's further away then it ignores them and concentrates on the moving creatures instead. Maybe it's different for laser turrets, I've just been using regular ones up ti...

Additionally, you can research lab speed, which reduces the time needed for a pack.

Re: Old items recycle.
...However, a storage chest filtered to the item can be used instead of a requester chest. This works in a similar way but can be done as soon as you have construction bots, usually long before Logistic system research required for requester chests. Note that to ensure all of that item goes to the ...

Re: On the topic of entities "animations" and idle machines.
If you research with a science pack in a lab and it gets pulled out into the next lab, there might be rounding issues how much of the pack was consumed. So it happens at some point, that you cannot finish a research with 100, because you are stuck at 99.999. You just need a new pack to finish instan...

Re: Make the corpse smaller and more ground-colored
I think you are beating a dead horse here. The point was made. It's definitely the right move to berate thuejk, because he's spamming all over the place. I’m not “berating” anyone. Maybe I was a little blunt, but I didn’t intend to have an accusatory or rude tone. OK, maybe "berate"...

Re: Make the corpse smaller and more ground-colored
@Kyralessa That is clearly the superior gameplay design. I am surprised they haven't implemented it already. That way you could spend even more time on this the best part of Factorio. I think you are beating a dead horse here. The point was made. It's definitely the right move to berate thuejk, bec...

Re: Fluids are killing me
I love the game and all aspects of it but this is not done right in my noob opinion. It's done perfectly ok. It's just the next level: Multiple outputs (or by-products), which seems to screw over so many people. Honestly, this is the point, where things get interesting for many of us. If you have a...

Biter Battles scenario has a different attack approach, so it should be possible:

I learned another important lesson last night - while fooling around with chain signals, do not stand in the middle of the track! Thats a general lesson... about not fooling around on train tracks - it applies much more if you are using mods and trains are running at higher speeds then vanilla. I'l...
