Thank you,
That button was it. I did not remember it was there and of course didn't realize it was off until you mentioned it.
Thank you, It looks the error was PBTKAC (person between the Keyboard and chair)

Personal robots not working [space age]
I am having problems with my robots. They are very bad and refuse to do any work.
I have marked an area to remove trees and rocks and no robot leaves me to go and do the work. A few seconds earlier I tried to use them to place a power pole and they refused.

That's what I was expecting... Large enough to swallow an entire train (or a spice harvester.) After all, the lightning is nothing more than wormsign.

Train rolling resistance
While on the wiki earlier, I noticed the idea of rolling resistance affecting vehicle speeds.
Concrete increases walking speed by 40% and decreases vehicle rolling resistance, allowing for extra acceleration and top speed, although each vehicle is affected differently; (from Concrete on the wiki ...

Re: Friday Facts #352 - New website
What I like a lot about the current site is that it's not a mess of javascript and megabytes of large external resources being included. It's just google analytics, jquery via google, and google youtube at the moment (which sounds like it's bad, and it could be better, but it's pretty good ...

Re: Friday Facts #319 - New T-shirts & Lua event filtering
I can't believe that I have had my grey Factorio T-shirt for nearly 2 years now. (received just before Christmas, right after the initial release.)
I like the inserter design, but I really think that the red long-handed inserter is most appropriate one for me... 8-) Any chance of these in the ...

[0.17.22] Crashing while dragging Electric Pole
I am crashing with the attached save.
When I grab the power pole and drag it while moving in a train, the game crashes.
Recreate:
1) Load Saved Game... (to big to attach... ~ 32MB )
2) Press "Q" on the power pole immediately below the player.
3) Press "W" to move the train you are in forward.

0.17 Research UI feedback
Overall, I enjoy the new Research UI, especially the UI regarding queued research.
I enjoy not being bothered to stop what I am doing because I know research continues after I hear the chime signifying the end of the current research project. Though what I find lacking is any feedback telling me ...

Thank you for releasing 0.17... Even though I will live in solitude like a hermit the next few weeks.
One thing, after looking at the release notes and the roadmap... What is happening with Spidertron?

Re: Friday Facts #225 - Bots versus belts (part 2)
Factorio is not a competetive game. It is a sanbox game. It is fine stuff is not well balanced.
LOL! I'm saw that opinion a few times in this thread. It is basically like writing "Factorio is a sandbox game so is it fine if it sucks." - just a few levels down.
No, the game should be well-balanced ...

I agree... if anything the response to last week's FFF and the quick number of responses to this week's FFF show that one or two people may still be reading them.DanGio wrote:Hi there! Nice FFF! Can't even imagine you were talking about ending this blog few weeks ago...![]()

Finally... It only took a week... but I read all 44 pages...

First, I'd like to say that many of you need to read the fact in the FFF, that bots are not being removed. While some people understand that, a lot of posts ...

Re: Friday Facts #223 - Reflections on 2017
The barrel changes were way to much. they completely broke mega-base or any base that used any significant quantity of fluids. On top of that, cargo wagons can only realistically carry half of their inventory in barrels because they need the other half to carry the empty barrels back.
I fail to ...

Re: Friday Facts #223 - Reflections on 2017
I don't think I have seen a release this widely disliked.
This is an overstatement.
Sure, even I have voiced some opinions on the removal of the belt compression( i actually prefer the other fluid handling changes) , but compared to other games, Factorio still grows from strength to strength. In ...

Uhm, so that means we won't get other than male playermodels...
That doesn't require a lot of creativity but is a lot of work for the graphics department. Let them finish the high-res-models for everything else first before they open this can. Also licensing bender from the futurama guys will ...

Re: Friday Facts #222 - Christmas avalanche
I think people undersetimate ANNOYANCE costs while talking barrels vs tank wagon.
While I prefer to use fluid wagons instead of barrels, (with the exception I noted earlier in this thread), annoyance is minimized when you have blueprints to facilitate barreling and unbarreling. While the cost of ...

Re: Friday Facts #222 - Christmas avalanche
I just wanted to add another voice to the opinion already expressed by others: if you want to reduce the fluid wagon capacity, which I'm not too opposed to, it kinda makes sense for the reasons you specified, you should definitely nerf barrels. Otherwise it would be ridiculous: four times more ...

Thanks for the news. Guys keep calm, enjoy your freetime with family and co.
