Hi all! Just finished an achievement run, where I cleared almost everything. Now I'm setting my sights towards a "megabase" or "gigabase", over a long time. I'll be starting a new map and working my way up. I plan to have a few mods going for this build.
The plan is to use only bots, as I've not ...

Active Provider Chests and Storage Chest (stupid robots)
I'm having a weird issue when I'm transfering items between an active provider chest and storage chest. I'm using bots for everything, no belts... So when a train pulls in I have stack inserters load the items into active provider chests. I then have a big chunk of storage chests nearby that the ...

Map editor copy-paste some chests
I want to move some chests from one save to another with all the contents (about 200 chests). Is this possible with the map editor?
I basically have them all placed in one chunk and would love if it were possible to just copy a chunk with all the chests in it or something similar.

Defending Train Lines and Biter Expansion
Hi All,
I'm getting to the point now where I'm comfortable to start playing the game in a NON-peaceful world. I'm just curious to the game mechanics and how they are currently after all the updates. I saw that there was changes to expansion in .13 and it has changed "victory poles", though I have ...

Waterfill and Ore Cover flooring
Hey, just wondering about 2 thing that I can't seem to find on the mod website.
First, is there a mod that allows the player to erode a coastline (as opposed to the landfill option currently available) or to make bodies of water where they wish using an item? Similar to how the "water bomb" was ...

Re: Importing Rail Strings - Straight Rails get offset?
Well I managed to get it to fix by using the feature in "Foreman" called "fix positions that I clicked on just while trying everything. That seemed to put all the rails in their correct positions... I guess I know what that button does now :D I wonder why it's need though? Is it due to the old way ...

Hi kinnom,
Just spent a few minutes making a new map, importing the blueprint and getting some robots to make what they could from it. Attached is the save game

Hi all! Sorry if this is in the wrong section. Please delete if it is.
I got Factorio this week and I'm loving it. I'm currently working on a rail network and am testing out rails. I've been trying to import rail blueprints using various mods that make it possible to import blueprint strings ...
