Is the mod broken right now?
I currently have two stations set up with an extra depot station and a train.
The first station is getting an input of -10k iron into the lamp.
The second station is getting an input of 19k iron from a bunch of chests into the lamp.
I have a 1-2 train on automatic ...

So I've just started a new game. I guess I probably messed something up when adding mods the first time, i added a couple after starting but I know i had petrochem installed on the first time around.

With RSO there should be 3 oil and 3 gas near your spawn.

Personally I'm not a big fan of having to deal with the locals - optimizing production and solving the logistic puzzles is what's fun for me - and for me it's a nuisance having to go deal with the hives just to keep them under control and getting their balls...
...I don't want the game turning ...

I was a little confused about the keys... When you said everyone would have a possibility of getting a key if they are already a member, does that mean that only some people will randomly get keys? Or does it mean we all have the option of generating one if we want?

Hmm... I guess they are just running out. I am feeding plastics, sulfur, and sulfuric acid with one oil refinery so... I will work on getting adv. refining and get 2 refineries up. Seeing as I have 5 reasonably high yield derricks and all =D thanks!

What does this option mean when you are creating a new world? Does it have something to do with water/islands/archipelagos etc? If so then what does it mean if it is high or low?

I think a mod that replaced the biter threat with zerg would be fantastic! even as much as changing biter nests into hatcheries with spawning pools and spine crawlers etc nearby. I would love anyone that could do this.
