I actually noticed this a few days ago but forgot to file a bug report. Can confirm this is a thing. The bug affects chemical plants and refineries as well.

Just to confirm this is outdated, I edited the title to reflect that. I'll post a new topic later. I have a new setup that is beacon ready and prioritizes solid fuel & lubricant over cracking, still circuit free.

Singleplayer, no mods, FPS drop happens with only gun or laser turret in view, in map view. The effect is proportional to number of turrets in view. Flamethrower turrets also affect FPS but very little in comparison. Artillery turrets don't seem to cause FPS drop. You have to be in map mode for this...

I can confirm this, and I believe we tracked it down to running into a wall with power armor exoskeleton equipped.

Edit: this is without any mods

What kind of bugs me is high CPU usage when the game is paused in the background. Yeah, it's "useful" in winter but I can use other commands for that...
