Well after some tinkering and other tests, i think i figured out it isnt a Factorio problem but some bad RAM sticks. I started getting some other crashes outside of factorio, popped out two of the modules and everything is back to running smoothly.

Just attempted the following tests:

-New game with all mods still loaded - cleared a patch of trees but hadnt built a single item and game crashed after a few minutes of just idling
-Was going to disable everything and see if that impacted and game crashed while initiating
-Restarted game and now ...

Game functioned fine on a fresh O/S install. Came back yesterday to play and game would crash after a few minutes into the game. I have deleted local content and reinstalled Factorio as well as reverted to a previous save to see if i created the error at some point in between.
