snip To clarify, you want a way to set up depots for certain train lengths for easier refueling? Making Depots accept names like "Depot #L-CCC" would be simple enough. What bothers me about this solution is how it's forcing players to use certain names instead of sending a signal to depot...

It seems like there is a need for minimum train size at the stations/depots? Right now if I set a depot up to fuel and unload excess for a 8 wagon train, which wont work for a 3 wagon train the 3 wagon trains will still use that depot. Also my smaller trains will attempt the to get the big deliverie...

I think your idea of an infinite charge cycle might be correct, or at least part way. In one Let's play I watched (I think he was on version 10.2 or 10.3 too), he had a situation that look identical to this. They usually do it when they have nowhere to put their stuff. Are those storage chests at the bottom middle inside the orange part of the logistics overlay?

Well I guess that game really didn't have the idea of having factories far away from each other because the developers couldn't think of a reason why anyone would do that. The express underground belts require express belts, which in turn require lubricant. So it does require lubricant :?

The underground belts only means you have got to dig a hole.

I don't understand the request. You say you have 10 labs, and research goes too fast for you. Surely the simplest thing to do would be to gradually remove labs until you find a good balance? I don't know why you don't just make sure you robotics network has 100% coverage. :?

Also a screenshot would help immensely in explaining exactly what you mean.
