There is no such thing as playing this game wrong my friend :)

The only thing that should be important to you is how fast you want things to happen!

Re: Quick Start Guide for new players on the wiki

As of 0.10.0, burner inserters will fuel themselves, but you must provide the first fuel in order for it to keep going. So just drop one coal in each burner inserter and it'll feed itself, then the drill. Well I'll be! This makes perfect sense then. I will add your screenshot to the page and update...

Re: Quick Start Guide for new players on the wiki

Actually, the way it runs currently I think is reasonable. Have a burning miner with another in front. It means you have to fuel the one behind, but you have fuel inserters anyway. From the stage of having it the way my guide works until you get electrical power I think is a reasonable way to do it.

Re: Quick Start Guide for new players on the wiki

Ah yes. I think I had an example or was going to put one in and then forgot to do so. In reality I think most people would skip burner inserters because electricity is so easy to make. I was going to put it in for completeness. I will go back and look at it in a couple of hours and fix it up. Thanks...

That is a very good point and I think I strongly agree with you on it.

Getting Started wiki page

Hi guys,

I've been working on the quick start wiki page for those who need help starting out in the game. I'm going to continue trying to update it and hopefully it will become something useful to all the newbies out there

Re: How I balance ore/smelting throughput.

I don't understand why you wouldn't process your ore on site? Is there any reason not to have your smelting out where your ore is being produced and THEN loading it onto the train?

Re: Advanced Refinery Schematic

That layout is absolutely amazing. I'll have to try and build it sometime.
Is there a chance that you could get the total of all the machine that you used in that build? using a blueprint or something?
Want to know how many bloody assemblers I'm going to need to create.

Re: Main Base - Schematic

I don't understand how people read these schematics. They look nice and such, but I can't tell what anything is! Am I missing something?
