Re: headless server linux can't connect from outside
Firstly, try to connect from another machine in your LAN. From client machine, type your LAN IP to connect, not 0.0.0.0 or 127.0.0.1. That way, you will know if factorio server is listening properly, and if Manjaro firewall etc. is not messing with it.
Once verified, you can attempt to open a ...

Re: headless server linux can't connect from outside
The ip address of localhost is 127.0.0.1. The meaning of the address 0.0.0.0 in the log is that the game will listen on every address, not just some specific address. It's a wildcard, not an ip address you can connect. So try to connect to 127.0.0.1 if you try to connect to a locally hosted game ...

headless server linux can't connect from outside
hi guys .
I'm trying to make my server available to the world. I'm using manjaro linux

Hello, this is my first post!
So I have a question.
Do you know where i can find a headless server image that doesn't have space age included?
or maybe you do know how to run a server that is not space age default.
Thanks for reading

Re: Why rails recipe don't have wood in it?
why is necessary to "break up all the recipe tree" ? i'm talking just about changing rails.
Because otherwise "(...) all you have done, is make trains less attractive because rails now require a base material logistic chain that has no purpose in the rest of the game."
if trains are not ...

Re: Flying Robot Frame should require plastic instead of steel
I'm not really sure why the robot frame requires circuits. The frame is just an empty husk that doesn't do anything. The bots don't get any brains until the next recipe, where it is programmed into either a construction bot (2 greens) or a logistic bot (2 reds).
I do think the robot frame should ...

Re: Why rails recipe don't have wood in it?
Because that would require a way to automate wood harvesting which is not trivial if you want it to look at least halfway decent and unless you break up all the recipe tree to incorporate wood into other recipes as well, all you have done, is make trains less attractive because rails now require a ...

Why rails recipe don't have wood in it?
Hi people, this is my first post in this forum.
The recipe may be changing iron sticks for wood logs
I think that this recipe can make use of all that wood that usually get in the way of every vanilla base, and save some iron, which is always good
Corrections are welcome as i'm not from an ...
