Sorry, the normal rename is not enough. I tried and found a solution.

first the zip rename as "LaneSpliters_1.2.0.zip"

then edit the following files / folders in the ZIP

Directory "Lane-Spliters" => "LaneSpliters"

LaneSpliters\info.json
"name": "Lane Splitter"

LaneSpliters\prototypes\entities ...

I've added two additional times with the German translations
