I think the issue is which version is published as "full update" and which one as "delta update".
If you played the 16.16 version it tells me that you have activated the experimental mode. And for players doing i hope is accepteable if the devs put the effort into bringing new features instead of ...

Something that i do whenever i create such a circle intersection as you have:
On every Exit: Signal
On every Entry: ChainSignal
Important: Signal After the intersection, chain-signal before.

i am about to rebuild the central trainstop at my main base.
What i would like to do is to create multiple unload stations called "Base unload" and let the trains decide which station to use. I read on reddit (can´t find the link anymore) that the trains will choose the first free station they ...

I found the issue: after changing my rail layout the station was not really connected to the rails anymore.
One suggestion would be: like the "no power" signs we could maybe also need a "not connected to rails" sign over stations / signals / chain signals.

How to debug a trainsystem?
Hi,
i changed my rail design today to a two rail system, one for each direction.
Now my train start to tell me "can´t reach destination". When i drive manual i can reach it without a problem.
I assume i have a bug in my signals somewhere but i am not able to figure out where.
So i wanted to ask ...

I have a factorio server hosted by https://server.nitrado.net (4 player slots for 4 € a month), but they support only current stable version.
For singleplayer i also use the exprimental builds
