Re: [15.27] Pressing Alt stops player [Ubuntu]
Then I suppose it's a laptop. Sorry for stupid question - can it be something about Fn key? :) I am running this on a desktop computer. My keyboard contains neither an AltGr key nor a Fn key. The same applies to my old wireless keyboard. Note that I am using an American keyboard, with an American E...

Re: [15.27] Pressing Alt stops player [Ubuntu]
If you didn't disable it in your Ubuntu (normally you couldn't since that setting isn't exposed anywhere by default) you drag a window by clicking in any part of it while holding alt, is a pretty standard feature in most distros, saves you from having to hunt for the title bar like in MS Windows. T...

Re: [15.27] Pressing Alt stops player [Ubuntu]
However now I believe that is the window manager catching the keystroke because, like in most distros, alt is for clicking and dragging a window. In any case, using the alt key is always problematic in Linux OSes, I would just rebind it to something else. I haven't ever seen that use of the Alt key...

Re: [15.27] Pressing Alt stops player [Ubuntu]
Isn't ubuntu's hud interfering?. In my system left alt brings up the hud so I have detailed info bound to other key. No, the Ubuntu HUD is bound to the Windows key on my system. Just to be clear, typically the Windows key in Ubuntu opens the dash board, not the hud. You aren't mixing them up? Perha...

Re: [15.27] Pressing Alt stops player [Ubuntu]
Only Alt+Tab, which isn't relevant here. The effect occurs when pressing Alt while holding down any combination of the WASD keys.MerkaST wrote:Do you have any OS/window manager function bound to Alt itself or Alt+a movement key?

I have several mods installed, but only base is enabled. Movement is bound to WASD and "Show info" is bound to ALT_L.Rseding91 wrote:Do you have any mods installed? Can you go into the options -> controls and see what movement and alt-toggle are bound to to confirm they aren't changed slightly?

Re: [15.27] Pressing Alt stops player
When I press alt it doesn't stop my movement. Doing some more testing with a set of exos, the effect varies. When I press down Alt, movement is always stopped. When I release Alt, movement will either stay halted or resume, pretty much randomly. Did you re-bind movement to the arrow keys or are you...

[15.27] Pressing Alt stops player [Ubuntu]
When using the arrow keys to walk, pressing the Alt key causes the player character to stop walking as well as toggling detailed info. Player movement is discontinued until the arrow keys are let go of and pressed again. This has been tested on multiple saves on Ubuntu 16.04. Preferably, pressing th...

[15.22] All players desynced on server
Was in a public, unmodded server walking north along the main line. Expected the game to continue as usual. All online players (about 8 or 9) desynced simultaneously. Some players had desynced before this event. Desync report was not generated.

Make groundwater well use power
TL;DR Offshore pumps can be placed over land as wells, but they take a large amount of energy to run and work significantly slower. What? Currently, an offshore pump can be placed on the border of a body of water. It then takes no power and produces 1200 units of water per second. When the player p...

Blueprints do not show last user
See title. Blueprints do not tell who placed them. Not 100% sure if this is a bug per se, but has definitely led to much blueprint griefing.

How can construction ghosts be removed?
Question in the title. Accidentally shift-clicked a stack of shone bricks instead of ctrl-clicking it, and now I have to get rid of all the ghosts.

Make blueprints override deconstruction jobs
This has happened to me several times, which has prompted me to post this. I believe that when placing a blueprint, if a component of that blueprint exists but is scheduled for deconstruction, then the deconstruction job should be removed. For instance, when rotating solar farms, although several pa...
