How does time works in this game?

I try to time my Produktion rxctly with the mines and so in

I already recognized that a electric mine pproduces nearly in the same spwwd AS a non Upgrades e-smelter smelts iron ore to iron Platzes...

So gold so far but the mine says it needs 0.5 time to produce ...
