Yeah, seems like you have to put every lab onto gleba, if you need the science for a specific technology. Looking the spoil rate of the science packs, you can't even send them to orbit in time.

That is just how it works.
You only find out if it's buggy, if you release it as potentially unstable to a group of people. As soon as you know there are no major flaws, you mark it as release candidate / stable.

Minor visual issue. The tooltips of the technology tree appear behind the current window while an achievement notification is enabled.
