Re: ModMyFactory - mod manager and more
You mean how to log in? You'll have to link your Steam account with a factorio.com account, then you can use that to log in.

Re: ModMyFactory - mod manager and more
The short answer to that is there is still a lot to do until I can mark MMF2 as stable. Most of your points are directly related to the fact that in order to make MMF2 cross-platform compatible I had to use an entirely different GUI framework so I had to design everything from scratch again. And at ...

Re: ModMyFactory - mod manager and more
I've uploaded a new update, check if it improves anything.
If you're willing to help (which may take some time tho) I can keep sending you dev-builds until everything works. I don't want to spam the public releases with experimental builds that may not even do anything.

Re: ModMyFactory - mod manager and more
I can give it a few more tries but without access to a Mac the only thing I can do is guess what's correct and hope it works.
To make the experience on Mac good this project would need a Mac developer.

Re: ModMyFactory - mod manager and more
Honestly, just by looking at this I'm thinking I may have to simply scrap the entire Mac build. I was under the impression it would work similar to Linux and didn't give it much though (and cannot test anything anyway without a Mac). But turns out the Mac archive is fundamentally structured differen...

Re: ModMyFactory - mod manager and more
Does this happen right at startup or did you do something beforehand?

Re: ModMyFactory - mod manager and more
Ok, GitHub is screwing with me. A few hours after I generated a new token it was automatically invalidated again. Until I can figure out why this happens I can't do anything about this issue. YOu can avoid the crash by disabling auto-updates. Edit: I've probably got it this time. Seems GitHub doesn'...

Re: ModMyFactory - mod manager and more
The auth token for the auto-updater expired. I've released an update but you'll have do install it manually.

Re: ModMyFactory - mod manager and more
The issue with the links was related to an oversight in the build process, I have already uploaded a hotfix.
As for the other stuff, that will require some closer investigation.

Re: ModMyFactory - mod manager and more
I am aware of this issue. All platform-specific releases are currently broken due to some error in the build process I haven't yet identified. The universal release works and runs on all platforms but requires the .Net 5.0 runtime installed. You can use it until I can figure this one out. Edit: I ju...

Re: ModMyFactory - mod manager and more
You must be misremembering, this never worked. But you can put all the modpacks you want to enable into another modpack and start with that.

Re: ModMyFactory - mod manager and more
Thank you for testing all of this, it's very helpful.
I hope I have taken care of all of these issues now.
Also I will not be spamming the forum with changelogs anymore since new updates and their changes are directly displayed in MMF.

ModMyFactory 2 Beta 4.0 released
Add functionality to update mods Fix scrolling issue in modpack list Fix incompatibility with mods using Zip64 format I'm bumping to Beta now since all major features are done. I will now focus on polishing (for example the export GUI, it's horrible) and stability. When I stop receiving reports I w...

Re: ModMyFactory - mod manager and more
MMF does not use separate directories for modpacks. It simply enables all the mods in the selected pack and disables all the others. To start a new save with a new modpack you'd first have to create that modpack in MMF and then start the game with it enabled and start the map. Then you can directly ...

Re: ModMyFactory - mod manager and more
I did figure it out. They're so-called Zip64 files which are not format-compatible with regular Zip files.
However the fix was fairly straight forward, just need to essentially tell the decompressor Zip64 is a possibility and it starts working. ^^
