I really like the idea of a scenario that has a wrecked ship off to the side of a large clearing with resources not very far from this clearing. The ship has a few good starter pieces of tools and machines and power. This would give the player a good chance of setting up a factory that works in the ...

I really want this. I can see colors accurately, but with Bob's mods, I can't even see STONE deposits on the map. I want a way to highlight any chosen mineral deposits by flashing them or some obvious means. I click on the ore sample box I want to see, and the mini map flashes every deposit for x nu...

On the topic of power switches, I would also like to suggest a way to isolate the machine needing to be switched so that placing power poles near it won't directly power the machine. Some of you that have posted on this thread haven't given any thought to why the player might need to specify a crafting amount in hand.
Please stop and consider the possibilities. I also want a way to enter manually, the quantity I wish to craft rather than the current shift and right-click options.
