Personally i like the idea of a preselected input Field. And to argue against with 'how do you know/make sure' is a bad argument. It's not the Suggestors Job to make shure that everyhing works nor is it a Dev's fault if someone 'screws up' his Keyboardlayout. And as long as the preselection applies ...
