Re: [16.38] Game freezes when renaming train stop.
That sounds like the normal directory for saving user data for steam Factorio installs. It is one of the directories Microsoft specifies that programs should use for user data. Typically user data (saves, mods, logs etc) should not be stored in Steam's steamapps directories, partly because by defau...

Re: [16.38] Game freezes when renaming train stop.
Ok so the directory my log and saves are in is really weird. I can only find it if I search my computer for it. I can't find it when I try to upload. It's in Users\Username\Appdata\Roaming\Factorio. Which isn't where the game is installed at all. I'm not sure how it ended up like this or how to fix ...

Re: [16.38] Game freezes when renaming train stop.
I read the post, I just built a new PC which might be the reason. It's pulling my saves off the cloud and wondering if my info is there somewhere also. Like I said previously, those files are not in the factorio folder of my system.Loewchen wrote:See: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3638

Re: [16.38] Game freezes when renaming train stop.
Trying to find the requested data, Factorio folder looks a bit different then I remember. Tried looking at the tutorial for posting logs. My factorio folder has bin, data, and doc html folders. Which one of these is the relevant info in?

[16.38] Game freezes when renaming train stop.
I'm having a weird issue with a train stop. Any time I try to rename it "Stone outpost" my game client freezes and becomes unresponsive. I finally tried naming it "Stone Station" and it works fine. Picked up station and tried replacing it. Same issue. I don't know if this is poss...

Re: Bugs & FAQ
Is it a bug that the triggers from the mod portal for disabling infinite ores and the like are not downloadable? All the base mods are. It says it has no released version.

Re: [Twinsen]Serious tearing issues/ Vsync problem
This issue is still present. Or something very similar to it. Running game on R280X in d3d mode (to get nice full screen window behaviour) still stutters into unplayable mess. Only way around it is to enable vsync in config file which game will promptly disable. Using radeon settings to force vsync...

Re: Way to save config.ini settings
wouldn't that screw me every time the game had a new update? I still don't understand the need to have removed the option in game in the first place.

Way to save config.ini settings
I have been having an issue with windows 10 and factorio with screen tearing. I have found the only thing that works to keep this from happening is setting v-sync to true in the config file. However, after you launch and close the game this setting is reverted to false. Is there a way to keep that f...
