Re: [0.14.21] Factorio hangs when losing focus on xorg 1.19

This appears to happen to other games too, both when using the NVidia card in my laptop (via primusrun / bumblebee) and the onboard intel graphics. Since it's not factorio-specific you can probably ignore this bug report.

[0.14.21] Factorio hangs when losing focus on xorg 1.19

Or at least I suspect its xorg 1.19 related. I'm running debian unstable (yes, intentionally!) and did a reasonably large system update recently, it's only happened since then. I have attached the factorio log output as required for bug reports. The bug is 100% reproduceable. The game starts fine, I...

Re: Feature Req: Read-only steam player info over UDP?

Sure, I'm not a Steam player either. But the developers have already used Valve's RCON protocol to allow remote administration, and the Steam server query protocol is technically very similar (allowing a certain amount of code reuse) and has a public spec. It's relatively easy to implement a client ...

Feature Req: Read-only steam player info over UDP?

Hello devs, As well as TCP RCON, Steam/valve have a simple UDP RCON-like protocol to allow pinging the server and checking on current players, etc. https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Server_queries I was wondering if this could be added to the factorio headless server. This would allow useful ...

Re: [0.14.14][Twinsen] max_upload_in_kilobytes_per_second

Thanks, and sorry for the dupe. Your forum search did not find the other one despite me searching for both max_upload_in_kilobytes_per_second and "max_upload_in_kilobytes_per_second". I probably should have just used Google :-)

[0.14.14][Twinsen] max_upload_in_kilobytes_per_second

HI, Setting max_upload_in_kilobytes_per_second to a non-zero value appears to prevent players who connect from downloading the map. I've only tested the values "0", where the map downloads fine, and "64", where the map sits forever at 0% transferred. This is a new server, the map...
